About Us
Welcome to the Lincolnshire South Federation of WIs and a warm welcome from the fen villages and market towns of South Lincolnshire.
Our Federation, as we know it today, was formed in 1977 but the WI has been here since 1917 with the first WI opening in Colsterworth.
We have 60 very active WIs ranging from The Deepings in the south to Witham St Hughs in the north. We have WIs of all sizes and of all age groups making up our membership of more than 2000.
As a Federation we offer social and educational events throughout the year organised by the Board of Trustees and our sub-committees something for everyone, I hope.
Our office is in the market town of Sleaford which is usually open 8.30am to 2.30pm on Monday through to Wednesday (Bank Holiday closed). There is always a warm welcome from our dedicated staff who are always pleased to see members and visitors alike.
So if you have just moved or already live in our beautiful county just contact our Federation office staff and they will point you in the right direction.
